Superman kills Batman
On the 28th of May, 2014, a most renowned superhero was killed by the greatest superhero of all time. Yes, Batman was killed by Superman. Arriving in his Batmobile, Batman arrived in Metropolis, on this cold, snowy morning. His first words of the scene are noted as, "I know you're here." Superman answered, but without being in sight. "Yes, I am." He flew out of nowhere and landed onto the ground. He stepped towards his rival preparing for battle. Superman shot his classic laser beams from his eyes. It did no damage. Well, not to Batman of course. It reflected from Batman's armour and made Superman crash against the wall. Superman winced, and brushed the dust off himself. When he looked up, Batman was gone. Not for long. Out of the sky jumped Batman, suffocating Superman against the cold, icy floor. "It doesn't hurt," wheezed Superman. Superman punched Batman, sending him flying. Batman threw smoke bombs and tried to escape. His efforts were futile. With a single swish of his cape, Superman blew away the smoke. Batman muttered, "Sacrifices must be made." He shouted, "Robin, stop Superman!" Robin jumped out of the sky. Superman punched Robin. He moaned in pain, and turned around to Batman for help. "VROOM, VROOM!" roared the Batmobile. Batman had left Robin to die with Superman. The move of a coward."You left me, Batman. How dare you!" Robin screamed furiously,"Superman, help me get my revenge! I beg you! Let us join forces! I shall lead you to Batman's base." He held out his hand, and Superman shook it. A new alliance had been formed. Superman took Robin's hand and flew to the base, following Robin's instructions. Arriving at the base, Superman and Robin crawled under the small staircase and crept forward... A sword stuck out. A KRYPTONITE SWORD. Superman slumped to his knees. His death seemed unavoidable. Or so Batman thought. Robin laid his back against the wall, so Batman would not see him. Then Robin grabbed the sword from Batman, much to Batman's surprise, and threw it far away. But no one noticed Superman's faint breath. He wasn't dead. He revived himself and punched Batman's armour, breaking it and leaving a normal, mere mortal. Superman would've killed him with his superpowers, but decided to make it 'fair' for Batman. He choked him, and left him lifeless and spiritless on the floor on his own base. Batman was finally dead.
